Based in Berkshire TWS specialise in web design services to the technical and industrial sectors including engineering, manufacturing, design, consulting and services, although we accept all other work, ie, shops, charities and personal sites etc. If you are looking to develop a web site for your company for the first time or are looking to revamp an old site, then TWS can help you. In particular, if you are a start up company, TWS can help as we have a proven track record in making sites work.

The service you receive from TWS is fast, professional and accurate. At all levels you deal with the same contact whether thats design, development, billing, marketing or trouble shooting. Issues are usually resolved on the spot, and the pro-active management of your site will mean that you are never out of the loop. TWS practice a program of continual on going development which means that the service you receive in the future will get better and better.

TWS specialise in the industrial, technical and professional service markets. The majority of clients from these sectors operate high value projects with long lead times, but they still need a web site that can promote new business although they generally cant afford the inhouse resources to develop a web prescence themselves. TWS not only develop their web prescence, but they put them at the front of their field, often with impressive results.

All websites are created using the Macromedia Dreamweaver studio suite which comprises of Dreamweaver for web site creation, Photoshop CS2 & Fireworks for graphics development, Carrara & Flash for dynamic animation and Freehand for vector based graphic development. All sites are build with php and Java supporting technology.

Sites that are hosted with TWS are hosted on shared servers with a very reliable hosting provider with servers based in Regus House in the Docklands, London. The service is based on Cisco technology with network connectivity through Linx, NewNet & Level(3) to N+1 standard. Network guaranteed uptime is 100%. Using shared Supermicro Super Servers with quad AMD Opterons operating with 8GB RAM, and 1400GB raid 10 hard disk space. Full data back ups are maintained at server level and at a local level with both on and offsite tape systems. Data security is taken very seriously with access limited to senior level TWS staff and no data leaving the premises.

Established in 2002, TWS now has 5 years experience in the design and development of web sites. As a sole trader, TWS has established itself as a dedicated resource suited to a tough market where new business is few and far between. As a growing company, much of its new business is through word of mouth as web sites proove their worth. TWS operate a policy of continual development with new services and features being introduced all the time. The TWS motto is, if you can describe it, we can build it.

This web site has been designed around a number of images of famous people, some you may not have heard of. TWS see our heritage as a useful tool for moving forward. The industrial revolution and the gold rush, two favorite eras for the TWS staff were times of change and times of opportunity which are only now easily described in hindsight. TWS believe that the current period of change we are facing now, the internet revolution, has direct parallels with the gold rush and other great revolutions. The gold rush experienced a very short boom whist 'placer' was easy to find, but after 6 months all 'placer' gold from the river beds was gone, the easy pickings, however, the miners continued to arrive in the gold fields for the next 20 years. After that first six months there was only the 'load' to mine, the gold within the mountains. It was hard work but still many rich veins were discovered and many a fortune made. As with the internet, for companies such as TWS, the easy days of picking up gold nuggets like Rolls Royce, Ford, Westland or Johnson Matthey are gone, but there is still plenty of 'load' left in the hills. Its hard work, but its there. And theres gold enough for everyone. You can read more about the Gold Rush on Google.
